Open License Portal →After downloading Typemac, launch the application. Click the Typemac icon in your menu bar, and click Activate at the bottom of the popup. Paste your license key and you're good to go forever.
Your Typemac license is a one-time purchase of $7. It includes the current version of the app plus all future updates within the same major version. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no account to create. Once activated, Typemac works entirely offline — no internet connection is needed for day-to-day use.
Each license key can be activated on up to 2 Macs simultaneously. This means you can use Typemac on both your desktop and laptop, or your personal and work machines. If you need to move your license to a new device, deactivating on the old machine frees up the slot automatically.
Typemac requires macOS 13.0 (Ventura) or later and runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. The app requires Input Monitoring permission, which allows it to detect when a key is pressed and play the appropriate sound. It does not log or transmit any keystroke data.
